Lightning must have just struck really close by. I've become used to it living in Orlando, which is, among other things, the lightning capital of the U.S. But this time I jumped out of my seat because loud thunder boomed immediately afterward, and the power surged. It was actually kind of cool.
Summer in Florida...expect daily thunderstorms.
