Lightning Capital of the US

Lightning must have just struck really close by. I've become used to it living in Orlando, which is, among other things, the lightning capital of the U.S.

But this time I jumped out of my seat because loud thunder boomed immediately afterward, and the power surged. It was actually kind of cool.

Summer in Florida...expect daily thunderstorms.

Where Have You Been?

It's so strange how quickly we can get out of good habits (and how long it takes to start -- or restart -- them). So here I am, trying to get the creative juices flowing again.
